Antje von Dewitz is the managing director of VAUDE, a provider of functional and innovative products for mountain and bike athletes. As a sustainable, innovative outdoor outfitter, VAUDE makes a contribution to a world worth living in and focuses on maintaining nature for future generations. This family-run business sets ecological and social standards worldwide. VAUDE stands for environmentally friendly products from fair production. The company employs approximately 500 people at its headquarters in Tettnang in southern Germany.

What long-term goals do you have? We want to record energy consumption of our 45 or so producers from the global supply chain, including upstream material production and gradual switch to renewable energies. At least 90% of all VAUDE products are based on predominantly organic-based or recycled materials. Another goal is a worldwide climate-neutral production of VAUDE product.
