After studying business administration in 1970, Wolfgang Gutberlet joined his father’s company “tegut …”, which he managed until 2009. With the handover of the “tegut…” trade to “Migros”, Wolfgang Gutberlet became chairman of the supervisory board of the W-E-G Foundation and KWALIS GmbH in 2013. In addition, he is still a member of the GLOBUS Advisory Board and board member of the WALA Foundation.
Wolfgang Gutberlet deals intensively with principles of humane and responsible management in companies and questions the systemic connections between work, goods and nature. He has received several awards for his achievements, including 2008 with the German Sustainability Award. In the same year he was also awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon for creating jobs and increasing food quality in Germany.
